The new floating rate for 5-year loans up to Rs 20 lakh is 10 per cent. Interest rates of floating rate loans of upto Rs 20 lakh with 5-15 year maturity is 10.25%. It is 10.50% for 15-25 year tenure floating loans of below Rs 20 lakh size. The rates vary from 10.25 to 10.75 per cent for loans exceeding Rs 20 lakh. Interest rates on fixed rate home loans have also been reduced by 25-100 basis points, with interest rates ranging from 11.25-11.75 per cent. The new rates are effective from October 15, 2007. The bank had reduced the rates by 25 basis points, earlier in September. BoB reduces interest rates by 25-100 basis points for fixed, floating home loans Bank of Baroda (BOB) has once again, reduced the interest rates on new home loans. This is the second round of reduction in the last 45 days, with floating home loan interest rates reduced by up to 75 basis points to 10-10.5 per cent.
